WIND CONE WCS250/PRO FOR WINDSOCKS ON HELIPADS

Description:

United Novations wind cone WCS250/PRO is a replacement wind cone for windsocks installed on surface-level heliports and helicopter landing pads (helipads).

The wind cone has a length of 250 cm (8') and an entrance diameter of 45 cm (18").

A distinctive feature of the PRO series of the WCS model is a long service life (2 years).

This wind cone is fabricated from windproof & water resistant, high density polyurethane coated nylon fabric for strength and flyability. Unlike canvas or vinyl, nylon cones fly in the slightest breeze.

The cone has the shape of a truncated cone. Color of the windsock fabric may be natural (white), yellow, or orange.

The throat band is finished with stainless steel grommets for easy attachment to the frame.

The edge under the grommets is reinforced with a strong tape.

The cone is attached by cable ties (included) to the windsock frame (supplied separately).
