Wind cone WCS120/PRO for windsocks on helidecks

Description:

United Novations simple wind cone WCS120/PRO is a replacement wind cone for windsocks installed on elevated heliports and helicopter landing pads (helidecks).

The wind cone has a length of 120 cm (4') and an entrance diameter of 30 cm (12").

A distinctive feature of the PRO series of the WCS model is a long service life (2 years).

This wind cone is fabricated from windproof and water resistant, polyurethane-coated nylon fabric for perfect flyability. Unlike canvas or vinyl, nylon cones fly in the slightest breeze.

The cone has the shape of a truncated cone with alternating transverse stripes of red and white for higher visibility.

The throat band is finished with steel grommets for easy attaching onto the frame.

The edge under the grommets is reinforced with a strong tape.

The cone is attached by cable ties (included) to the windsock frame (supplied separately).

Temperature: -50C/-58F to +50C/122F
Wind speed: up to 25 m/s / 55 mph
