You are part of a team at a modern fish processing plant in Sitka, right on the coast of Alaska.
Work includes:
Gutting, sorting and packing fish
Quality control and cleanliness of the production line
Work in a warm indoor environment (not out in the cold!), with breaks and protective clothing
Schedule Hours per week Approx. per month 12 h × 6 days 72 h/wk $8,352/month 14 h × 6 days 84 h/wk $9,984/month 16 h × 6 days 96 h/wk $11,616/month 100+ h/wk Max load up to $12,500+/month
Rate:
$24.30/hour — base
$36.45/hour — overtime (under Alaska law — after 8 hours per day)
Salary is paid reliably, without delays, twice a month
Housing provided free of charge: cozy rooms for 2–4 people, shower, heating, laundry
Lunch — provided by the company, kitchen and tea always available
Wi-Fi, medical point, rest area, shops nearby
Clothing, gloves, footwear — all provided
Work indoors, not outdoors or at sea
