Independently perform advanced technical maintenance, preventive maintenance and comprehensive repair of agricultural research equipment, including combines and seeders.
Disassemble units to diagnose or troubleshoot issues or to install spare parts, and restore units after completion of modifications, replacements or repairs.
Maintain service records on a daily or individual basis, and document labor.
Provide high-level electrical and mechanical customer support by phone or email to resolve product issues, including troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolution of mechanical, electrical and electronic problems.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of successful experience, including testing, troubleshooting and repair of heavy equipment or mobile equipment.
Ability to independently troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical or hydraulic systems of machines.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Driver's license and the ability to be insured on an auto insurance policy.
Education or experience with diesel mechanics preferred but not required
