(trainee) - company-sponsored training in any profession related
to the oil and gas industry.
Upon completion of the training (from 2 weeks to 3 months) an international certificate in English is issued with the qualification “Junior Specialist”.
You do not pay for the training; instead you will be paid an allowance.
After completing the training, the employer will sign a work contract with you and provide you with a highly paid job in the profession.
The high salary is due to a high level of economic development,
as well as the traditionally profitable oil and gas production.
The minimum contract term is 6-12 months.
During the contract, work is carried out on a rotational shift basis, around the clock.
The duration of a rotation on an oil extraction or gas platform is 14-28 days (depending on the employing company). (Most often the rotation is 60 days).
Work schedule for technical personnel - 4 hours on, 8 off: (4 hours - work, 8 hours - rest); for domestic staff - continuous workday - a total of 8 hours per day.
There are no days off during the rotation.
Mandatory rest on the mainland is provided to the crew after the end of the rotation - lasting 14-28 days.
SALARY:
For unskilled workers or general laborers: $,£,€ 120 - 200 per day, ($,£,€ 2500 - 3000
and more per month). For specialists and skilled workers (who have a profession and work experience), as well as their assistants: $,£,€ 200 - 300 per day, ($,£,€ 5000 - 11000
and more per month).
LIVING CONDITIONS:
Onshore, as well as on the platform, accommodation is at a very high level corresponding to European standards, that is, comfortable cabins with showers for 2-3 people, high-quality, varied four-times-a-day meals (fruits, vegetables, meat and fish dishes).
And in your free time you have at your disposal video, satellite television, a gym, etc. Mostly most of these services, including Internet, are created for employee comfort and provided free of charge. The exception is international phone calls, which must be paid for.
To start the employment process, it is necessary to submit an official application
for hiring to the employer company. For this, it is necessary to obtain a full employment document package, which includes the following information: an application for employment in English. A list of civil documents required by the employer company for admission and work at oil/gas production facilities. A completed employment application form in accordance with the instructions and a CV/resume (I will prepare these documents correctly for you in English), for hiring you must send them to one of the addresses of foreign employer companies offered to you. If you wish to receive not one but several offers inviting you to work in foreign companies, the employment application form and CV/resume prepared in English should be sent to many addresses of foreign employers.
After receiving all the necessary employment documents, a representative of the foreign employer company will contact you by mobile, Viber, email or in writing (the companies have Russian-speaking interpreters), where you will preliminarily discuss the terms of the contract and clarify all the details that interest you. After that the company sends you an official job offer, which is the main document for obtaining an entry visa at the nearest embassy or consulate of the country of your new employer. You will receive: a paid ticket, a (preliminary) contract, insurance, an itinerary, an action plan. Travel, insurance, meals and accommodation are paid by the employer company.
