Job description

Recruitment is open for strong and goal-oriented men to work on fishing vessels in the USA (state of Alaska). Seasonal work on the crab fleet is hard labor, but with record earning levels in a very short period.

Full support in obtaining maritime documents: If you do not have the necessary package for legal departure to sea — we will resolve this issue. We provide professional services for issuing a seafarer's passport and all mandatory international certificates from scratch. Please note: services for creating the document package are paid and are covered by the candidate before the start of the voyage (the cost is not deducted from future wages). All procedures are carried out completely legally, with your presence at our representative office in Moldova or remotely (a friend or relative can also come). This is an investment in your career that pays off many times over in the first days on the vessel.

Financial conditions:

  • Income per month: from 12 000$ to 18 000$ (hourly pay from 27$ to 33$ per hour).

  • For the season (from 2 to 3 months) real earnings amount to 20 000$ – 35 000$.

  • Generous bonuses are provided for a good catch.

  • Full and guaranteed settlement is made at the end of the contract.

What we offer (terms):

  • Work location: Alaska, USA.

  • Contract duration: season from 2 to 4 months.

  • Workday: intensive, from 04:00 to 20:00 (14–16 hours), 1-2 days off in port

  • Free meals and accommodation on board the vessel fully covered by the company.

Main tasks on the vessel:

  • Perform deck work and assist the crew in catching fish and crab.

  • Work with traps, nets and other equipment.

  • Unloading, loading, sorting and basic processing of the catch.

  • Prepare the deck and equipment for the next shift, maintain order.

Who we need:

  • Age strictly over 22 years.

  • Endurance, good physical condition and readiness for prolonged physical exertion at sea.

  • Possession of BST/STCW (valid for 5 years) and a maritime medical commission (valid for 2 years). If you do not have them — contact us, we prepare them turnkey in Moldova.
