Job description

Job: Fish plant worker in Alaska (Silver Bay Seafoods)

Location: Alaska, USA
Season: September — April
Salary: from $7,600 per month
Employment type: Seasonal work, full-time

About the company:

Silver Bay Seafoods — one of the largest seafood processors in Alaska. We offer stable employment, fair pay and a unique work experience in one of the most scenic corners of the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing and sorting fish (salmon, cod, herring, etc.)

  • Packing and preparing products for shipment

  • Work on the production line

  • Compliance with sanitation standards and safety procedures

  • Physical work in low-temperature conditions

Requirements:

  • Physical endurance and readiness for intensive work

  • Ability to work in a team

  • No harmful habits

  • No experience required — training provided on site

  • Knowledge of English is welcome but not mandatory

Conditions:

  • Salary: from $7,600/month (depending on hours and overtime)

  • Accommodation and meals: provided

  • Official contracting

  • Medical insurance for the period of employment

  • Assistance with visa and flight arrangements (by agreement)
