Representative of the Swedish company Sumab Energy offers you to review equipment for generating electricity and heat - cogeneration.
Sumab Energy actively cooperates with European equipment suppliers - MWM, Caterpillar, GE Jenbacher.
Sumab Energy uses in its projects used units MWM, Caterpillar, GE Jenbacher with low operating hours, as a rule 30–40,000 moto-hours (approximately 4–5 years), which allows reducing the project cost by 2 times compared to using new equipment. At the same time, all units undergo full technical maintenance by qualified personnel and are in ideal working condition.
Gas-piston power plants produce electricity from various types of gaseous fuel. Power plants operate on:
natural gas,
biogas,
associated gas,
mine gas,
gas from wastewater treatment facilities,
landfill gas,
blast-furnace gas,
coke-oven gas, etc.
Gas-piston power plants have a simple and reliable design, refined by decades of operation in a wide range of climatic conditions. The electrical efficiency of gas-piston power plants is considered high, unlike, for example, turbines and microturbines, and when operating on quality natural gas amounts to approximately 39–44%.
This means that to produce the same volume of electricity, compared with turbines, gas-piston power plants consume one third (!) less natural gas.
Gas-piston power plants are available in a wide single-unit electrical power range from 800 kW to 4 MW. This power range is the main one. That is, in the small and medium range consumers can obtain practically any value of electrical power of an autonomous gas-piston power plant.
Almost all models and brands of gas-piston power plants in extended configurations are capable of operating in cogeneration mode, i. e., as thermal power plants. The exhaust gas temperature at the outlet from the power engine of a gas-piston power plant is approximately 390 ± 10° C. Such temperature makes it easy to obtain practically free thermal energy in cogeneration mode.
