Types of Copper Wire Scrap
1. Bare Bright Copper (Millberry)
* The highest grade of copper scrap
* Pure, shiny, uncoated, unalloyed copper wire (usually thicker than 16 gauge)
* Used in electrical wiring, brings highest resale value

2. #1 Copper Wire
* Clean, uncoated, unalloyed copper
* May be less shiny than Bare Bright but still high-quality

3. #2 Copper Wire
* Painted, soldered, or with some corrosion
* Still valuable, but lower price than #1 or Bare Bright
4. Insulated Copper Wire (ICW)
* Copper wire with plastic insulation

* Needs to be stripped or sold at lower value due to insulation weight
