Constitution Day of Ukraine: a bond with the homeland that cannot be lost

On 28 June, Ukrainians around the world celebrate Constitution Day of Ukraine, a holiday that reminds us of the values of freedom, dignity and independence. For millions of our compatriots living in the United States today, this day remains an important part of their national identity and a connection to their homeland.

The Constitution of Ukraine, adopted on 28 June 1996, established the rights and freedoms of citizens, defined the foundations of the state system and became one of the key symbols of Ukrainian statehood. Its principles continue to unite Ukrainians regardless of the city or country where they live.

For the Ukrainian community in the United States, Constitution Day carries special meaning. Many families preserve Ukrainian traditions, support cultural organisations, participate in community initiatives and help Ukraine. A distance of thousands of kilometres cannot weaken the sense of belonging to their people and their history.

Ukraine is currently going through serious challenges. That is why the words freedom, human rights, democracy and independence resonate especially strongly. These values are understood by every Ukrainian, whether they live in Kyiv, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Sacramento or any other city in the world.

The Flagma team warmly congratulates Ukrainians living in the United States on Constitution Day of Ukraine!

We wish you prosperity, stability, success in your career and business, good health for your families and confidence in the future. May the Ukrainian community in America continue to grow, support one another and preserve its roots for future generations.

May Ukraine remain a strong, free and independent country, and may every Ukrainian always feel proud of their heritage and homeland.

Happy Constitution Day of Ukraine!
